CRM Manager

We are seeking a data-driven CRM Manager with approximately 2+ years of experience to join Universal Music Group’s Amplify team. Amplify is a full-stack marketing department working at the intersection of artist marketing, live, ticketing and merch. In this role, you will work with CRM related activities in the music industry with a focus on artist campaigns and live events. The role is both strategic and operational, working within Universal Music Group (Universal Music, United Stage & United Tickets).
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our CRM strategies and will play a key role in enhancing fan engagement and driving revenue growth through personalized marketing and data insights. You will report to the Director of Amplify.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute CRM strategies aimed at improving fan engagement, retention, and sales.
- Optimize personalized customer journeys and loyalty programs to drive ticket sales, merchandise purchases, and fan loyalty using CRM tools and platforms; DotDigital being the main tool of use.
- Manage and analyze data to create segmented marketing campaigns, leveraging fan behavior and purchase history to optimize communications and offers.
- Collaborate with the marketing, ticketing and D2C teams to coordinate and execute email/sms campaigns and other digital marketing activities. Have a close dialogue with UMG Central which assists local teams.
- Monitor and report on CRM performance, analyzing key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue impact from campaigns.
- Implement A/B testing to continuously improve email content, subject lines, and offer effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations, especially regarding ticketing and customer data.
- Integrate and optimize CRM tools with key platforms and sites to ensure that data flows and segmentation are efficient and accurate.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve overall fan engagement and marketing performance.
- Stay updated on the latest CRM, email marketing and data trends, specifically within the entertainment sector.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working in CRM, preferably within the entertainment or e-commerce sectors.
- Preferably a relevant degree within the Marketing/CRM
- Experience of CRM platforms, preferably DotDigital, to drive personalized marketing campaigns.
- Proven ability to manage customer data, segment audiences, and execute automated email campaigns.
- Experience working with e-commerce or ticketing platforms and integrating them into CRM systems.
- Solid knowledge of GDPR and best practices for handling customer data in marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (both written and spoken) and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams.
- Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization.
- A passion for music and the live entertainment industry is a plus!
This is a 6-month position with good opportunity for extension. The office is centrally located in Stockholm.
