Part-time Investment Analyst

At Universal Music Sweden we always strive to find new marketing models to better serve our artists and to further expand our presence in the entertainment industry. Our finance and royalty team, consisting of 10+ individuals, is integral to this mission.
Effective immediately we are looking for a part-time Investment Analyst to our office in Stockholm. In this position you report to the VP Finance Sweden and work closely with Strategic Finance Lead.
Your main responsibilities:
- You assist in identifying and evaluating music catalogue investment opportunities
- You conduct financial analyses, financial modelling and valuation of potential investments
- You conduct data analyses, analyze streaming trends and other industry data to evaluate investment opportunities
- You support various stakeholders within the finance team with ad-hoc analyses
You meet these professional requirements:
- You are currently in the later stages of your studies (typically year 3-5) within Business, Industrial Engineering or similar, focused on finance, with strong academic track record
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have prior working/internship experience in financial modelling and valuation
- You have strong quantitative skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience and a strong interest for data analytics (e.g., prior experience with SQL or other data analysis tools) is highly meriting
- You speak English fluently and are at least proficient in Swedish

- You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and can apply those in a fast-paced environment handling multiple assignments
- You feel comfortable with a diverse and creative environment, are self-motivated and want to take on significant responsibility
- You have a strong interest in the music industry

This is a part-time and fixed-term student position for 6 months. The position is fully on-site at our Stockholm office (no remote work).
