With immediate start, we are looking for a Project Manager to our Kids & Entertainment department who will be responsible for identifying and developing musical collaborations, as well as managing relationships with brand owners, artists and producers in Norway. The role requires strategic thinking and a deep interest and drive for children’s entertainment to ensure that the company continues to grow and develop in its field. You’ll work closely with several internal teams to ensure smooth coordination, timely delivery and high-quality output. This position reports directly to VP UMG Kids & Entertainment, Nordic Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new collaborations by monitoring trends and networking with partners.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, including kick-off meetings, timeline development and ongoing follow-ups.
  • Develop and implement strategies for business development for both existing and new collaborations.
  • Develop and present P&L ́S for each project.
  • Build long-term collaborations for Norwegian repertoire.
  • Coordinate with our Operations, Legal and Marketing teams to ensure successful launches and campaigns.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with brand owners, artists and producers in consultation with VP UMG Kids and Entertainment, Nordic Region.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and changes to ensure competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand owners, producers, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience of project management.
  • Relevant experience from brands for children, for example in books, film or the music industry is an advantage.
  • Post-secondary education in project management or business development is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Deep understanding of industry dynamics and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a possibly remote manager.

This is a permanent position with a 6-month trial period. Your office will be located in Oslo or Stockholm.

The role requires a high degree of networking and accessibility, including the ability to travel and attend events outside of normal working hours.
